Here it is. Doug’s very own slice of time, preserved for you in the latest 2 minutes of quality interview action on Fear of The Park.

He’s steadily getting his shred skills back after a ball ache of a winter and many injuries. So we put him to the test at FBBB Hemel to see if Doug could put up with the most intense interview on the planet!

Mr Johnson! It’s been a bit of a roller coaster of a year for you so far – tell us about it.

DJ: well….ah, I broke my arm, and a bit of a burst appendix, and it was a bit of a Sh*t season, but I’m getting back into it all now, and getting on with some snowboarding!

FoTP: That’s all good, getting back on it!

Pretty pleased to be back on your board then? What are your plans for the next few months into next season?

DJ: I’m hoping to get away to Tahoe next season with Matt Higson, and yeah, just get away to the snow a few times really.

FoTP: Any plans for the summer?

DJ: Well i’m hoping to get to Deux alps for a bit, trying to sort that out at the minute…

FoTP: Grooovey!

What would you most like to achieve? Any aims in or out of snowboarding?

DJ:I’d like to pass University!

FoTP:Yeah? Sweet. Doing what ?

DJ: Mechanical and materials engineering, which I start in September.

FoTP: Good man! That’s some brainy stuff!

DJ: Yeah, I’m looking forward to it… and I’d like to try and win a few more comps really.

FoTP: We like that answer!

Any good films you have seen recently that you could recommend?

DJ:Ummm…errrr….hmmmm don’t really watch films….

FoTP: You don’t watch any films?

DJ:No not really…but anything with Will Ferrel in is a good laugh.

FoTP:Yeah i’d agree with that!

If you could have any hair style – what would it be and why?

DJ: Ummm..dunno…laughing..one with hair ?

FoTP: hahah.

DJ:I think my current one is doing alright…one that doesn’t take any effort…

Can you do the air guitar? Please demonstrate.

Doug starts to strum his imaginary axe…country bumpkin style.

DJ: Jimmy hendrix…

Doug hold his imaginary guitar up to his face and plays it with his tongue. It’s a sight for sore eyes.
