If you watched the coverage on freecaster of the Mens Halfpipe at the O’Neill evolution, you’ll already know the scores.
If you couldn’t watch it, you’ll be pretty stoked to know that Dan Wakeham managed to squeeze into the final, taking 16th place in the semi’s with a score of 67.17 !
The standards were insane, with cab 9’s and 10’s being thrown, as well as riders going huge for the biggest air, Dan certainly had to pull his final run out of the bag, which he did with some awesome style, incuding a sweet tailbone 5 and a huge first hit of 3.3 metres out of the pipe.
Fantastic news for Dan, who beat Janne Korpi and current TTR leader Marco Grilic to the final. The final 16 is going to be tough however, as with Freddy Austbo, Markus Keller amongst others throwing down, expect a real show.
