GB TTR Round up for March.

Published on: 17th March, 2010

Another month of action from the UK and Europe, and more news to report back from the TTR standings.

As you may have heard, this years title has already been decided, but that doesn’t mean that our
GB riders have nothing to aim for, with several events still to ride at this season, several of our best shredders are out there looking for a fine finish in this years table.

This time round, we’ll start with the girls, and it’s Aimee Fuller still leading the way, taking up 10th spot in the TTR so far this year.

With only 2 high ranking events left this season, Aimee has done herself proud with some awesome results this winter to claim her place as one of the Top 10 riders on the world stage, if she can get out to the Burton US open and Roxy Chicken Jam, then we could see that position increase. We’ll have to wait and see.

Following in her footsteps is another rad performance from Claire Frost, who in 28th spot
has had a rocking season so far with some awesome comp results around Europe. Great to see her getting into the lime light as she’s sure got some wild snowboard skills.

Lesley Mckenna (34th), Katie Ormerod (72nd) and Samantha Rogers (92nd) make up the remaining places for the top 5 GB girls, but with the British champs around the corner, those points scores are sure to change.

For the Men, Jamie Nicholls is still up there with the best of them, bolstering his position with another excellent result at the River Jump earlier in the month. He’s still in the Top 25 riders, and will hopefully hang on to that position for the end of the season.

Lewis Courtier-Jones takes 101st position for GB, closely followed by Dan Wakeham in 123rd – that 8th place at the 4 star Nescafe Champs in Switzerland help boost his score for the season.

Jack Shackleton and Cody Hierons make up the final two GB men in the TTR, holding on to 127th and 198th respectively.

Richard Hookes is the only other notable mover in the TTR, points gained at the River Jump see him boost up the ranks by 64 places to 205th, not a bad increase for one event!

With the Brits around the corner some of these score are going to change, so we’ll be back in early April with our final round up of the year!
